KSI new album All Over The Place Will be out on July 16th Album Review And Tracklist Information

KSI is set to release his second album on July 16.

The ‘Houdini’ hitmaker – whose real name is Olajide 'JJ' Olatunji – has revealed new details of his upcoming second studio venture, which will be titled ‘All Over The Place’ and will be released in just under three months.

‘All Over The Place’ follows KSI’s 2020 debut LP ‘Dissimulation’, and features collaborations with the likes of American rappers Future and 21 Savage, music artist Jay1, and singer Gracey.

Previously released singles ‘Really Love’, which features Craig David, ‘Don’t Play’, which Anne-Marie lends her vocals to, and ‘Patience’, which is a collaboration with Yungblud and Polo G will all appear on the album.

Speaking about his upcoming release, KSI said: "I'm super excited for the people to hear this album. I've improved on everything I did with ‘Dissimulation’. The singing has improved. The writing has improved. The beats have more layers to it, I'm a lot more experimental, I'm way more comfortable on the mic etc. This album is a reflection of a lot of hard work and passion combined and I'm really proud to be releasing it."

The 27-year-old star – who began his career on YouTube – also revealed the inspiration behind the title of the record.

He added: "This album is all over the place. The genres are all over the place, the topics are all over the place. And it's correlated to how I am as a person. I'm not someone that just does one thing. I've done many things in my life like acting, music, boxing, YouTube etc, and I wanted to make an album that represented that.”

To coincide with the album announcement, KSI has also confirmed he’s set to play his biggest live show to date next year, as he plans to headline the The SSE Arena, Wembley in London on February 25 2022.

The show at Wembley Arena will follow his sold-out UK and Ireland tour, which will take place in October this year.

Billie Eilish has announced that her new album, Happier Than Ever, will arrive July 30th via Darkroom/Interscope Records.

The superstar announced the follow-up to When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? adding that a new single will be released on Thursday, April 29th. “This is my favorite thing I’ve ever created and I am so excited and nervous and EAGER for you to hear it,” Eilish wrote. “I can’t even tell you. I’ve never felt so much love for a project than I do for this one. Hope you feel what I feel.”

Eilish also shared the album cover, which boasts a Fifties-era feel as she clutches herself in tears. Her hair is blonde, a new look she showcased in photos last month. The 16-song tracklist includes “Therefore I Am,” which Eilish dropped last fall. Happier Than Ever is available for preorder here.

Eilish teased a snippet of what’s ostensibly the album’s title track yesterday in an Instagram video. There was also a scene in R.J. Cutler’s documentary Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry, in which Eilish and her brother/producer Finneas work on the song together.

Last month, Eilish won Record of the Year at the Grammys for “Everything I Wanted,” which she performed that evening on top of a sunken car. It was her second consecutive year winning the award, after she won in 2020 with “Bad Guy.”

Billie Eilish has confirmed that her second album ‘Happier Than Ever’ will arrive this summer.

The pop star announced the ‘When We All Fall Asleep…’ follow-up after billboards featuring the forthcoming record’s title and release date of July 30 popped up in cities across the globe.

Just days after announcing that her new album, Happier Than Ever, will be released on July 30 via Darkroom/Interscope Records, Billie Eilish has released the new single “Your Power.” Eilish also dropped a self-directed video for the track.

The sophomore album once again features no outside songwriters or producers as it was written by Eilish and her brother FINNEAS, who also serves as the album’s producer.

Happier Than Ever is available for pre-order now and will be available as a pair of box-sets as well as an exclusive color-way vinyl, cassette, photo-book and CD.

‘Happier Than Ever’ will contain 16 tracks, including the previously-released singles ‘Therefore I Am’ and ‘My Future’. Song titles such as ‘Everybody Dies’, ‘I Didn’t Change My Number’, ‘Lost Cause’ and ‘NDA’ also appear on the tracklisting – see that below.

According to a press release, the upcoming album was written by Eilish alongside her brother and collaborator Finneas – who also produced the LP in Los Angeles. It adds that ‘Happier Than Ever’ does not feature any outside songwriters or producers.

Billie Eilish releases her highly anticipated sophomore album, Happier Than Ever, via Darkroom/Interscope Records. Continuing the tradition from her multi-GRAMMY Award winning, record-breaking debut, WHEN WE ALL FALL ALSEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?, this 16-track studio album features no outside writers or producers and was written by Billie and her brother FINNEAS who produced it in LA. Includes hits singles, "Therefore I Am," and "my future."

Happier Than Ever is the upcoming second studio album by American singer and songwriter Billie Eilish, scheduled to be released on July 30, 2021, by Darkroom and Interscope Records. It follows her 2019 debut album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?

Five singles preceded Happier Than Ever: "My Future", "Therefore I Am", "Your Power", "Lost Cause", and "NDA", the first three of which entered the top 10 of the US Billboard Hot 100. To promote the album, Eilish will embark on the Happier Than Ever World Tour in 2022

In a January 2021 interview, Eilish stated she would begin working on her upcoming second studio album during the year.In March, Eilish's brother Finneas O'Connell confirmed this, stating that it would be "pretty pure in its intention" like Eilish's debut, with the two continuing to make the type of music they like to "play live".

The first single, "My Future", was released on July 30, 2020, one year before the album's scheduled release date. It debuted at number six on the Billboard Hot 100. Eilish released "Therefore I Am" as the album's second single on November 12, 2020. The single debuted at number 94 on the Billboard Hot 100,[10] rising to number two the following week, making it the fourth-greatest leap in the Hot 100's history with a vault of 92 positions.

In January 2021, Eilish stated that the album "feels exactly how I want it to", with her not wanting to change a single thing about it. Her documentary film, Billie Eilish: The World's a Little Blurry, was released the following month. Later in February, Eilish announced the album would have 16 tracks. In April, she began hinting at upcoming music, and revealed the title "Happier Than Ever" in an Instagram post on April 26, including a 15-second snippet of the title track, which had been previously teased in the documentary film. The following day, Eilish announced Happier Than Ever as the album title, after billboards announcing its title and release date reportedly began appearing in various cities. The album is scheduled to be released on July 30, 2021.

On April 28, 2021, Eilish announced that the third single, "Your Power", and its accompanying music video, would be released the next day, April 29.On June 2, "Lost Cause" was released as the album's fourth single. The fifth single, "NDA", was released on July 9, along with a music video.

After pretty much melting the internet with her British Vogue cover story last week, anticipation for Billie Eilish’s new album, Happier Than Ever, is at fever pitch.

Eilish’s second studio album follows her massive 2019 debut, the five-time Grammy Award-winning When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? Since then, Eilish has hardly been slack; as well as dropping the Apple TV+ documentary The World’s A Little Blurry in February, she won two Grammys in March; one for her 2019 single Everything I Wanted and the other for her theme song for the next James Bond film, No Time To Die.

9 things you need to know about Billie Eilish's new album Happier Than Ever

CRAIG MCDEAN FOR BRITISH VOGUE

The 19-year-old superstar’s new album will no doubt attract similar awards, accolades and acclaim. With so much information about Happier Than Ever sprinkled across the internet, Vogue takes one for the team and attempts to aggregate and assess all that we know, so far, about Eilish’s highly anticipated second album, which will be, hands down, the biggest record of 2021.

Happier Than Ever is due to be released on July 30, 2021

The track titles suggest that Eilish will both reflect on how life has changed—'Getting Older'—while retaining her sense of self ('I Didn’t Change My Number'). Track three insinuates that she may veer into unfamiliar territory; ‘Billie Bossa Nova’ could possibly be her João Gilberto moment. Other intriguing titles include ‘Oxytocin’ (the hormone associated with love), ‘Halley’s Comet’ (we’re not due another sighting until 2061) and ‘NDA’ in which, who knows, maybe Eilish will spill a whole slew of celebrity secrets.

The album cover, which features newly blond Eilish crying, was shot by Kelia Anne MacCluskey, and is the perfect contrast to the album’s title. As with all of Eilish’s creative endeavours, you can expect nothing to be quite as it seems.

The desert-set video, self-directed by the star, was released on April 29 and clocked up more than 50m views in just one week. On the record, she talks about accountability, vulnerability and the many ways in which power can be manipulated. “This is one of my favourite songs I’ve ever written. I feel very vulnerable putting this one out because I hold it so close to my heart. This is about many different situations that we’ve all either witnessed or experienced. I hope this can inspire change. Try not to abuse your power,” said Eilish of the track, via Instagram.

Fans have speculated that some of the single is about the singer’s former relationship with Brandon Quention ‘Q’ Adams—depicted in Eilish's aforementioned documentary—but, in an interview with BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac, she insisted that lyrics such as, ‘You might not wanna lose your power/ But having it's so strange’ are universal.

The album will be available in various formats
For the collectors among us, this one’s a dream. As well as being available on vinyl, CD and cassette, Happier Than Ever will also be available in various colours: pink and brown for cassette and brown, opaque pale blue, pale yellow, golden yellow and cool grey for vinyl fans.

Clairo has returned today with the release of her first single in two years, ‘Blouse’.

The song is the first to be lifted from Clairo’s forthcoming second studio album, ‘Sling’, which has just been announced and is due out on July 16.

‘Blouse’ is an incredibly delicate affair, with production from Jack Antonoff and background vocals provided by Lorde. It arrives the same day (June 11) as Lorde’s first song in four years, ‘Solar Power’, which was also produced by Antonoff and, in turn, had background vocals provided by Clairo as well as Phoebe Bridgers.

“Joanie, my dog, opened up my world in ways I didn’t think were capable,” she wrote.

“By caring for her, it forced me to face my own thoughts about parenthood and what it would mean to me. stories as lessons, regrets as remorse.. thinking about something/someone before yourself.

“It’s a glimpse into a world where I found that domesticity is what I was missing.”

Your Gen-Z fave, Clairo, has solar-powered her way into announcing her second album, Sling, by also releasing its gloomy first track, “Blouse.” You’ve perhaps already heard the Massachusetts prodigy’s 2019 breakthrough song “Sofia,” which has been all over the corners of TikTok. Pitchfork reports that the album, produced by Jack Antonoff, will be released on July 16 and also feature background vocals from her pal Lorde. (Seriously, does Antonoff have his own hype house at this point?) Clairo has already brought the mood down at The Tonight Show last week by performing “Blouse,” a stripped-down guitar song about a lost love, and not, like, failing to use Woolite while washing a top.

She’s back! Alternative pop artist 🎙 Clairo that is! In 2019, she released her debut album, 💿Immunity, which had its share of bops.  Now, she’s back and singing about a clothing item – a 🎵“Blouse”.  Okay, okay! Yes, the title of the promo single from her second album is named after a clothing item, but that’s not “Blouse” is about.  In fact, that blouse is only mentioned during the chorus in a very ‘revealing’ lyric: “Why do I tell you how I feel / When you’re too busy looking down my blouse.” Ah, you can see where things are going!

Clairo is searching for a deeper connection, yet she feels like everything is centered on a physical relationship and admiration for her body.  “It’s funny now I’m just useless and a whore,” she sings on the second verse, continuing, “But I get a cosign from your favorite one-man show.” Worth noting, one Genius annotator connects this reference to the 🎙 Joni Mitchell classic, 🎵 “For Free” – I can see it!  The bigger point is, she’s seeking an emotional connection, confirming this on the chorus as she sings, “If touch could make them hear, then touch me.” That’s brilliant for sure.  There are plenty of brilliant things regarding “Blouse,” including the intimate nature of the performance, the songwriting, and the gorgeous production (🎛 Jack Antonoff co-produces with her).

All in all, “Blouse” is a beautiful return for Clairo. She sings very well, giving an emotional performance sans histrionics – they’re not necessary! The songwriting, handled solely by the artist, is thoughtful and relatable.  The production, alongside Jack Antonoff, yields ear catching results, beginning more simpler and then adding strings and winds.  Honestly, there’s little if anything to criticize. I’m excited to see what album number two, 💿 Sling (July 16, 2021) brings for Claire Cottrill.

Clairo crystallized her stature as a new kind of pop star with her 2019 debut album Immunity, one of the key releases leading to the current bedroom-pop explosion. Since then, her Strokes-inspired single “Sofia” has taken off at alternative radio, and she’s kicked out a series of demos, loosies, and covers — most recently January’s solo acoustic one-off “Just For Today.” Now she’s ready to begin rolling out her second album.
It’s called Sling and will be released in July. The album was co-produced by Jack Antonoff. The album’s lead single, “Blouse,” is out now. The track features guest vocals from Lorde, whose new single “Solar Power” Clairo just provided backing vocals on. Listen to “Blouse” below.

On the heels of her collaboration with Lorde, Clairo has now announced her own new album and released the first single.

Entitled Sling, Clairo’s sophomore full-length will arrive on July 16th through FADER Label/Republic Records. It serves as the follow-up to 2019’s Immunity.

Clairo recorded Sling at Allaire Studios in Upstate New York with, you guessed it, Jack Antonoff. In a note posted to social media, the 22-year-old singer explained that her dog Joanie “opened up my world in ways I didn’t think were capable.

Willow Smith has followed up her explosive pop-punk song “Transparent Soul” with the announcement of her forthcoming album Lately I Feel Everything and the arrival of her new song “Lipstick.”

The track sees Willow trying to figure out who she is. “Lipstick on a mirror / Saying who you want to be / Vision gets dimmer / The room is closing in on me,” she sings in the first verse. “Lipstick” will be included on her new album, as will “Transparent Soul,” featuring Travis Barker, and a highly anticipated collaboration with Avril Lavigne.

“I just wanted to let loose with this album. I wanted to have fun and be young and not be so existential and worrying all the time,” Willow said in a statement. “I thought this was a really dope outlet for a new energy I wanted to bring to my music.”

On Lately I Feel Everything, the singer explores a pop-punk sound, inspired by Lavigne, My Chemical Romance, and Paramore. In fact, in a recent interview with V Magazine, Willow discussed attending metal and punk shows as a Black woman and how she was subjected to bullying due to her taste in music.

“[B]eing a Black woman in the metal crowd is very, very different on top of the pressures that the music industry puts on you,” she said. “Now, it’s like an added pressure of the metal culture, the metal world, and just rock in general. I used to get bullied in school for listening to Paramore and My Chemical Romance.”

Lately I Feel Everything is slated for a July 16 release. Listen to “Lipstick” at the top.

Willow Smith has confirmed the release date for her forthcoming new album ‘Lately I Feel Everything’.

The follow-up to 2020’s ‘The Anxiety’ – which was a collaborative record with Tyler Cole under the moniker The Anxiety – has already been previewed with the Travis Barker collaboration ‘t r a n s p a r e n t s o u l’, which came out back in April.

Posting on Instagram last night (June 23), Willow confirmed that ‘Lately I Feel Everything’ will be released on July 16 – you can watch the first teaser clip for the album below.

‘Lately I Feel Everything’ will be released next month via MSFTSMusic/Roc Nation/Polydor, with further details about the album set to be announced very soon.

A recent press release previously revealed that Willow will “channel the alt rock, pop-punk and emo heroes she adored as a teenager, like Avril Lavigne, My Chemical Romance and Paramore,” on her new album.

The record will arrive on 16th July via Polydor in the UK, with features from Travis Barker – such as on early single ‘t r a n s p a r e n t s o u l’ – Avril Lavigne and more.

“I just wanted to let loose with this album,” says Willow. “I wanted to have fun and be young and not be so existential and worrying all the time.”

She’s also shared new single ‘Lipstick’ – check it out below.

Willow Smith has announced that her new album Lately I Feel Everything is arriving next month.

Back in April WILLOW returned with Travis Barker collaboration "t r a n s p a r e n t s o u l", and last night (23 June) the singer/songwriter announced that her forthcoming album Lately I Feel Everything will be released in less than a month.

Lately I Feel Everything will follow WILLOW's 2020 collaborative album with Tyler Cole, The Anxiety, and will mark Smith's first album under her own name since her 2019 self-titled album.

Earlier this month Smith revealed that the new album will have "a lot more features", including one with pop-punk icon Avril Lavigne.

A tracklist for the album is yet to be revealed.

WILLOW's Lately I Feel Everything album will be released 16 July.

Titled lately I feel EVERYTHING, the upcoming album from the young artist is her brand new solo effort and is scheduled to be released in July this year, via MSFTSMusic/Roc Nation via Polydor (UK).

She began working on the album in 2020, during the pandemic. With all the extra time on her hands at home, she began recording demos that she would later re-record when she felt like she could safely enter a studio. It was a new process for her, born out of caution, but it helped her capture the rawness of her new sound. On the forthcoming record, she intends to channel the pop-punk and emo heroes she adored as a teenager, like AVRIL LAVIGNE, MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE and PARAMORE. “I thought this was a really dope outlet for a new energy I wanted to bring to my music,” she says. “I just wanted to let loose with this album. I wanted to have fun and be young and not be so existential and worrying all the time.”

Alongside the announcement of the new album, WILLOW has released a new song from the upcoming album; Lipstick. The new song is the second single to be lifted from the upcoming album following on from May’s release of t r a n s p a r e n t s o u l.

Turn down the volume on “t r a n s p a r e n t s o u l” for a sec and listen to this: Willow Smith is releasing her full pop-punk comeback, Lately I Feel Everything, on July 16. The 20-year-old artist announced the date and title for her fifth album on Thursday, June 24, with a video teaser of an unreleased track. The art has the title carved into a desk violently, rebelliously. While a full track list is still to come, it was revealed that Avril Lavigne is a guest on the record, along with Travis Barker, who supplies drums on the single “t r a n s p a r e n t s o u l.” It took only one song for Willow to own the genre at the moment, after years of experimenting with it on early albums including 2019’s self-titled project The Anxiety with partner Tyler Cole. In May, she geared us up with a cover of “Bleed All Over Me,” by Wicked Wisdom, her mom’s former nu-metal band, on Red Table Talk. Crushing genres is simply in her blood.

This week Tainy and Yandel broke the Latinx internet with their announcement of their collaborative project Dynasty. Yandel is most known as one half of Wisin y Yandel and for his successful solo career. Marco “Tainy” Másis has pretty much produced every Latin hit under the sun, including Bad Bunny’s “Yonaguni” and Kali Uchis’ “Telepatía.”

Tainy and Yandel have come up together since reggaeton music’s first global breakthrough in the mid-2000s. They’ve worked together plenty of times, but Dynasty marks the first time that they’re joining forces for an album.

Tainy has helped reggaeton go pop and this first single with Yandel reflects that sound. “Deja Vu” is a reggaeton banger with the alluring luster that Tainy and NEON16 have glossed the genre with recently. There’s even a perreo breakdown for good measure. Yandel, who is known for bringing out the romantic side of reggaeton, shines in their captivating love song.

To match the epic-ness of the Dynasty project, Tainy and Yandel premiered the “Deja Vu” music video last night in 13 stadiums across the U.S. and Latin America. In the cinematic visual, Tainy and Yandel celebrate their union like they’ve won a major basketball game. Their team gear is stamped with XVI to reflect the 16 years that they’ve worked together.

The two reggaeton heavyweights team up to release their first single “Deja Vu” off their upcoming anticipated collaborative album “Dynasty.” Providing a solid foundation for what’s to come, the track offers a steadfast, bass-heavy beat produced by Tainy, while Yandel hits the flows with a smooth demeanor. After 16 years of working together, the song showcases each artist’s inimitable talent to frame familiar rhythms with an infusion of reinvented life worthy of an intimate perreo, proving they continue to be trailblazing masters of their craft. — Jeanette Diaz

At this point, it’s just ridiculous to try to predict what Rico Nasty is going to drop next, so we’re down to go wherever she wants to take us. Her latest R&B/hip-hop single “Magic,” included in her forthcoming Rx mixtape, is mellow Rico: She’s in love, and nothing can touch her. You can hear her beam heartwarming with rays of gratitude as she guarantees her significant other they can always count on her. She has the magic. — Cheky

After a few years lending her pen-game to a handful of Latin hits, like Sofia Reyes’ “1, 2, 3,” Peruvian, LA-based Nicole Zignago is starting to make her way to the main stage. Her new single, “Karate,” follows her solo debut in 2020. Now, Zignago carefully delivers a mellow reggaeton beat with Japanese-inspired chords and raspy samples of swords and guns. The singer also showcases a striking dominance over her voice, wandering from delicate, airy verses to fierce, combative lines. “Karate” brings a young artist willing to navigate the waters of Spanish-speaking pop music, rolling out songs that are not ready-made products. — Felipe Maia

This Puerto Rican trap en español stalwart has made a name for being versatile yet hard-hitting. He proves he can’t be outshined even by stars like Bad Bunny and J. Balvin; however, Carrión truly is on his element when he’s freestyling. “Problema” is an effortless lesson in improvised lyrical flow that can be highly melodic without sacrificing heft. The rapper rides a drill beat that invites you to take a walk through his imagination and have a good time together. — Marcos Hassan

Quibdó-born singer and rapper Mabiland is back with a new album titled Niñxs Rotxs, and it comes with a single titled “WOW.” For this jam, she uses a sharp trap beat instead of her usual R&B/soul stylings to give us a hard pill to swallow, calling out the violence and impunity Black people face in the streets of Colombia. “Hagan al – go como hicieron con Floyd,” she cries, remembering that Black lives matter in her country too. — Cheky

Salt Lake City R&B chanteuse Marqueza is already following up her glossy 2021 EP, Omizu Diosa, with a fresh new track titled “Blue,” once again featuring lush electronic production from Adam Fuller. Conceived as an anthem of independence and personal resilience, Marqueza centers herself in a post-break-up narrative chiding toxic masculinity while embracing her own sensuality and a refreshing reggaeton-flavored sound. — Richard Villegas

Reggaeton stars Tainy and Yandel have released a new song, “Deja Vu,” the first single off their upcoming collaborative album, Dynasty.

Tainy’s beat for “Deja Vu” boasts a mix of crisp drum skips, steady bass thumps, and bubbling synths, while Yandel delivers a vocal performance packed with yearning as he crafts a tale of exes unexpectedly brought back together. The track also arrives with a music video, directed by Eliott Muscat, which leans into the Dynasty theme with nods to the Nineties Chicago Bulls as Tainy and Yandel pop champagne and puff cigars in the locker room of a basketball arena.

Tainy and Yandel have been working together regularly for the past 16 years, first linking up when Tainy produced some tracks for the reggaeton duo, Wisin and Yandel. Some of the Tainy-produced Wisin and Yandel cuts include “Pam Pam,” “Noche de Sexo,” and “Sensación.”

While prepping Dynasty, Tainy and Yandel have been busy with other projects. Tainy’s recent releases include a collaboration with Miguel, “Sunbathe,” and “Button,” which features Maroon 5 and Anuel AA; he also contributed to Rauw Alejandro’s acclaimed new album, Vice Versa. Yandel, meanwhile, released his most recent solo album, Queen Contra Mí 2, last July.

New York Colombianos Combo Chimbita return with their latest single, “Mujer Jaguar,” a fiery and energetic track that leans into a grungier rock sound for the quartet but still emphasizes their familiar electro-synth infused psychedelic cumbia and frontwoman Carolina’s hauntingly mesmerizing vocals. The song journeys through waves of raging urgency and placated tonal rhythms to create a world of their branded tropical futurism set a flame between lyrics and melody. — Jeanette Diaz

Welcome to Charlie Chimi, the NY-based sandwich pop-up by Charlie Garmendia and long-time collaborator Boone. For starters, Chimi is the Dominican adaptation of a burger made with pan de agua, mystery meat that no one knows where it came from, and other local savory ingredients. Chimis are known to have the power of curing the biggest of “borrachera” after a long night at the club. Ask any party-goer in The Heights, and they will tell you about it.

“Charlie Chimi” is none other than the chimi joint’s jingle. The single is the advance of Chimi/Liquid LP, an adventurous collection of jingles and food-based expressions, slated to drop on July 23. — Joel Moya

Continuing their experiments in psychedelic soul-funk, Chicano Batman is back with another groovy slice of sunshine just in time for the summer. Yet, not everything is as bright as it seems. Unlike some of their similarly catchy songs of the past, “Dark Star” displays a darker shade lurking throughout the song just out of hearing, reflecting the lyrical theme of our existence in the darkest of possible timelines. — Marcos Hassan

Ahead of a second album, the Barcelona band Zephyr Bones comes back with their first single since a few releases in 2017 and their 2015 album, Wishes/Fishes. Their return holds on to the style that made the group one of the catchiest debuts in Spain’s indie landscape. “No One” is a fast-beaten track with interlocked melodies jamming on funky basslines, disco drums, and breezy vocals. The music video — a trippy, oversaturated 70s forest dream — lives up to the song’s soft haziness. But don’t hit the stop button before it’s finished: The outro is a tasty blend of syncopated congas, Spanish guitars clashing with fuzzy chords, and ethereal keyboard lines. — Felipe Maia

Dominican dance-rock bad boys Solo Fernández have finally unveiled “¿Por Qué Eres Así?” — their first new single since 2019’s delightfully prismatic Multicolor LP. Propelled by a driving guitar groove and a slick black and white music video, the song delves into the irreconcilable differences leading to the inevitable curtain call of an increasingly toxic romance. Sober and perseverant, the band urges the listener to resist the temptation of old habits and instead dance their way onto greener pastures. — Richard Villegas

Tainy and Yandel have partnered with fashion designer Jeff Hamilton to create special edition jackets for their upcoming highly anticipated joint album DYNASTY, which releases on July 16. The dup, who can be spotted wearing their custom jackets in the recently released music video for “Deja Vu,” sported the iconic custom fits at their Puerto Rico block party last week at Eco Sports Park where they gave an exclusive performance and which was a part of a historic 13 city stadium premiere event.

Hamilton has become one of the most iconic and prolific names in the NBA having crafted jackets for legends such as Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and Lebron James. His custom leather jackets also permeated pop culture outside of the NBA and have been spotted on Madonna, Nelson Mandela, Muhammad Ali, Drake, and The Weeknd.

“It has been a great honor to be able to work on jackets celebrating the ‘Dynasty’ of the spectacular careers of Tainy and Yandel. Legends in the Game!” said Hamilton.

Tainy and Yandel began working together 16 years ago when Yandel was beginning his global success as part of the award-winning duo Wisin & Yandel & Tainy who at the time was 16 had just entered the music business by producing a song the group was featured in. Now with multiple Latin GRAMMYs and countless multi-platinum records under their belts, they came together to create a project that reflects Yandel’s iconic voice and lyrics with Tainy’s groundbreaking production. With DYNASTY, the duo are looking to celebrate the growth and global takeover of Latin music through the eyes and experience of the iconic Reggaeton superstar and Billboard’s #1 Latin music producer for 86 weeks and counting.
